GVFD Receives Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Grant
Thu. Apr 4th 2019

Did you know that a portion of all purchases made at US Firehouse Subs locations goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which is then used to provide lifesaving equipment to first responders and to support hometown heroes?

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has graciously granted the Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Inc. money to purchase a LUCAS Chest Compression System for the Volunteer ambulance that serves the citizens of Greenbelt and Prince George’s County.

So the next time you are at Firehouse Subs eating a delicious meal, know that when you round up your purchase you are helping to make a difference in your community!

In 2005, the Firehouse Subs founders established the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation with the mission of providing funding, lifesaving equipment, and educational opportunities to first responders and public safety organizations. Through the non-profit 501(c)(3), Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has granted more than $42 million to hometown heroes in 49 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, including more than $654,000 in Maryland.
